WE BELIEVE in Prayer

UFBL Believes in Affirmative Prayer. Affirmation is the activity of establishing in mind the truth of God. It is a conscious effort to bring the Truth of God into the awareness for the individual to act and respond from the Truth. Affirmative Prayer is the act of stimulating the inspiration with the growing awareness of Oneness Spirituality brings, while being involved in ones day to day activities.

UFBL believes that the purpose of Affirmative Prayer is to integrate the attributes of God into our consciousness, which in turns, manifest as corresponding conditions in our lives, world and affairs. Affirmative Prayer is first and foremost always the answer to any situation in the UFBL. We believe our prayers are always answered and simply await the acceptance of that Truth.

WE BELIEVE  in Healing

UFBL Believes in Spritual Healing.  UFBL is a part of the world-wide metaphysical movement and therefore affirms the truth of healing without medication. Instead, it affirms that perfect health is the birthright of everyone as a child of God, and that we can study the laws by which we may experience that health in our life, world, and affairs. However, no one is forced to practice spiritual healing without medical healing—the choice is always their own.

WE BELIEVE in the Bible

UFBL Believes in the Bible.   We do not say that it is the inerrant word of God, but that in its pages one may find universal truths to unearth, study, and apply. The Bible is a witness to dependence on God as our only deliverer and a proponent of the Spirit-led life. Jesus the Christ is our Way-shower.

WE BELIEVE in Spiritual Principles

UFBL Believes in Spiritual Principles.  UFBL teaches that God is Spirit and therefore non-corporeal. In order to shift our thinking from a God made in the image of man to a realization that we are made in the image of God, we use such synonyms as Principle to describe God. Principle is fundamental Truth; it is the underlying plan of the universe. As we learn Principle and practice it daily, we find that our life, world and affairs change for the better.

Our Belief Statements

WE BELIEVE that it is God’s will that every individual on the face of this earth should live a healthy, happy and prosperous life.

WE BELIEVE that a mighty new wind is blowing. People everywhere are hungry for practical techniques that will show them how to fulfill the good desires of their hearts. We in the U.F.B.L. believe that we have these techniques and we offer them to everyone without distinction, confident that with the help of the Holy Spirit, we can teach all who are willing to learn how to overcome whatever would keep them from their highest good.
