“He is not here: for he is risen….” Matthew 28:6 (KJV)
Happy Easter, Colleagues and Friends!
Around the world, Christians are rejoicing in the power of Easter’s victory: Jesus, who was abandoned by the disciples. Jesus, whose disciples couldn’t watch and pray for one hour. Jesus, who was betrayed by his treasurer, Judas. Jesus, whom Peter denied three times in one evening. Jesus, who was wrongly accused and convicted by Roman authorities. Jesus, who was severely beaten by Rome’s agents. Jesus, who was crucified as a common criminal. Jesus, who was buried in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea. Jesus, who rose and spoke to Mary and later the disciples. Jesus, the overcomer. Jesus, who outlasted what others thought would permanently erase him from history. This power of Jesus we celebrate because the power of the living Christ is not dead. It is still alive.
It is alive in you, and that is why you are never alone. It’s why you can live through betrayal, denial, false accusation, and wrongful convictions. Let Easter’s message remind you of Jesus’ victory over it all. Let it inspire you to keep going in the blessed assurance that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13 NJKV).
By now, we all are aware that the going is not always easy. In recent times it has been a bit rough. Yet, we are more than what we are going through. The power and presence of Christ is for us and works within us. “Christ in you is your hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27). With Christ as our leader, our success is assured. Why wait when you can do your victory dance even while you are passing through the valley and shadow of debt, denial, disgrace, disenchantment, disease, disgust, dis-placement and depression? This we know for sure: Christ in you is coming through in miraculous ways. Claim it! Believe it! Receive it!
On behalf of the Universal Foundation for Better Living, Inc., Board of Directors, every member ministry and all of our supporters and friends, we wish you a blessed Easter holiday.
